Beth Myers Joins Chatfield as Admissions Counselor

Beth Myers has joined Chatfield College as an Admissions Counselor at the St. Martin campus. Beth will be working in the field at area high schools, agencies and businesses, and on campus to recruit and register new students.

Beth graduated from Chatfield with her Associate’s degree in 2015 as a College Credit Plus student, where she was able to earn her degree while still in high school. She recently graduated in the spring of 2018 from Berea College where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication.

In hopes to further her education, Beth plans to earn her Master’s degree and then eventually her Doctorate degree. She wants to continue in the field of communication where she hopes to become a college professor.

Beth previously worked as a Residential Adviser for two years while attending Berea, where she aided students in balancing personal and academic responsibilities. This past experience will be a great benefit as she begins her journey as an Admissions Counselor.

“I am extremely excited to be returning to Chatfield as an Admissions Counselor. Attending Chatfield was one of the best decisions that I have made in my life, and has led me to great opportunities. Getting the chance to speak with others and encourage them to attend the school that has done so much for me feels natural. I look forward to inviting others and helping them into a college that has shown me that it truly cares about its students,” stated Beth.

Beth currently resides in Pricetown where she enjoys singing, reading, writing, and swimming. She is also serves as a Praise Band leader for the Pricetown Church of Christ.
