We’re an organization of passionate believers in the power of education. We help first-generation and non-traditional students overcome obstacles that are getting in the way of education beyond high school.

The benefits of post-secondary education are clear, whether that be a two- or four-year degree, trade school, certificate program, or online courses. Recent research shows:

Mentors are an important part of a student’s journey. Once a scholar is enrolled in a program, they are matched with a mentor who will remain with them through program completion. The mentor provides support and encouragement, discusses challenges the student may be facing, and helps the scholar focus on next steps.

Scholars also receive assistance in finding financial resources to help make school possible. If a gap remains once all financial aid options have been explored, The Chatfield Edge is able to provide scholarships to close the funding gap.
