Terry Miller Joins Chatfield as Chair of Education and General Studies

Terry Miller has joined Chatfield College as Chair of Education and General Studies at both the Brown County and Over-the-Rhine campuses.

Terry received his Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Ashworth College and then earned his Master’s degree in Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Studies, Education Administration and Leadership from Walden University.

Previously, Terry was an owner/administrator of two childcare facilities in Bethel and Aberdeen. He is certified as a CDA Professional Development Specialist, an in-service childcare trainer, a first aid and CPR instructor, and holds an Early Childhood Education certificate. In addition to all of these, he has multiple other outstanding achievements and qualifications.

Terry has been involved with Chatfield since 2016 as a part-time member of the faculty ranging from online to on-campus classes. He is also a graduate of Western Brown High School.

“My heart has been with Chatfield since I was a child. I would volunteer around the campus as my mother took classes. Now, it is my honor to be appointed to a position that will allow me to help Chatfield fulfill its mission and purpose,” said Terry.

“Terry is a strong advocate of our students and tirelessly works to provide them with the tools and guidance they need for success,” stated Peter Hanson, Chief Academic Officer and Dean.
