Louci Wylie Joins Chatfield as Coordinator of Institutional Assessment and Effectiveness

Loucretia Wylie has joined Chatfield College as the Coordinator of Institutional Assessment and Effectiveness at both the Brown County and Over-the-Rhine campuses. Louci will be responsible for guiding Chatfield to a new level of student support and success.

Louci has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Middle School English Education from Midway College. She also has a Master’s of Arts in Teaching in Secondary English Education and a Master’s of Arts in Communications from Morehead State University. With approximately fifteen years of experience in education with a majority of that experience in post-secondary education, she will be a great asset to the faculty. Louci has also worked in the private sector, with experience in educational outreach and public television.

“We are thrilled to have Louci with us.  She brings a commitment to our mission, a deep understanding of our students, and thorough understanding of who we are as an institution,” said Peter Hanson, the Chief Academic Officer and Dean.

From 2014 to 2016 Louci was employed by Chatfield as an adjunct instructor teaching both English and theater arts classes. Her “Improv” class was a favorite with students, who performed for the Chatfield community as part of their class project, garnering rave reviews from a large audience.

“I am thrilled to be back at Chatfield and in a full time position. Chatfield is a place that has been in my heart from the first time I set foot on campus. I hope that I can fulfill our mission, the mission of community colleges, and serve our students in a profound way,” said Louci.

Louci and her husband Jeff reside in Maysville, Kentucky and have five children – Max and Mitch Wylie and Olivia, Jonah, and Josiah Peed.
