She began her teaching career at Chatfield working with students at the former Findlay Market campus in developmental courses, preparing students to succeed at the college level. One student wrote: “Karen Crumley is an amazing teacher, willing to help, explain and support.” Her colleagues wholeheartedly agree that Karen is a dynamic teacher, student-focused and supportive of the Chatfield mission.
Peter Hanson, Chatfield’s Academic Dean said, “Karen has touched the lives of nearly all of our students, and they all have nothing but positive comments about her. It is fitting that she be recognized in this way.”
