Sheppard has her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Cincinnati and received her Master of Arts in Education at Northern Kentucky University. As a Teacher for Covington Independent Public Schools for 16 years, she was dual certified as a regular education teacher and a special education teacher. Nicole will be focusing on preparing Chatfield students to move directly into employment in the field of education, or transfer to a bachelor’s degree program in a related field.

She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Psychology from Liberty. Pruitt’s education is paired with her experience as a police officer, family ministry director, a social worker with military veterans and their families, and with foster children. She also serves in multiple volunteer capacities within her community. Pruitt’s position at Chatfield will allow her to incorporate her passion for helping others to teach students, facilitating internships, and mentoring future Human Services professionals.
