Join the Chatfield College Walking Club

If you made a New Year’s resolution to get healthy but haven’t done anything about it yet, here’s your opportunity while enjoying the beautiful campus at Chatfield College!  The college is starting a walking club on its campus both in St. Martin, Ohio and  Over-the-Rhine in Cincinnati, and it is open to the public.

The St. Martin club meets at 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, You can attend either session, or both if you’re especially energetic. The OTR club will meet on Tuesdays at 3 p.m.  You don’t need to sign up, just show up with your walking shoes on the front porch of St. Angela Hall at the St. Martin campus or the Commons Area at OTR!

There are many benefits of walking daily, including weight loss, increased energy, improved self-esteem, reduced stress, and strengthened bones and joints.  It can also help kick start your metabolism and reduce the risk of high blood pressure.
