Fall Semester Covid Protocols

August 18, 2021

Throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, we have considered the guidance from public health officials and agencies in response to the threat of infection.  We have operated in a safe environment without any disruption in overall campus operations while providing in-person classes, student support, and office functions because of the diligent practice of following our established prevention protocols.

Chatfield College is a safe place to learn and to work.  In response to the resurgence of Coronavirus variants, we have established guidelines to ensure the safety of our entire working and learning community, their families, and the communities in which we live.

The guidelines are informed by respect for the individual, are aligned with our Mission and Values, and will remain aligned with guidance provided by local, regional, state, and Federal agencies.  Notice of any required changes will be made to the entire community.

  • Temperature checks and sign-in is required upon arrival to campus. If you feel unwell, do not come to class or work.  Students should communicate timely with their instructors and employees should consult with their supervisor.
  • Course enrollment levels have been adjusted to assure safe distancing, and classrooms are sanitized in-between use.
  • The wearing of masks while indoors is recommended.
  • Chatfield College does not require immunization or proof of immunization.

We ask for your cooperation with these protocols.  Chatfield College will not require masking for fully vaccinated individuals on campus or at campus events.  However, individuals may still elect to wear a mask while on campus.

Finally, if you have not been vaccinated, we encourage you to do so as this is the most effective way to prevent the spread and complications of the Coronavirus.
