Chatfield College Seeking Adjunct Faculty

Chatfield College is actively recruiting new adjunct faculty to teach day and evening classes at either the St. Martin, Ohio campus in rural Brown County or the Cincinnati campus located in Over-the-Rhine.  Instructors are needed in all liberal arts subjects, including business, computers, math, English, history, human services, and all of the sciences.

“We are looking for people who are excited about helping others to succeed.  Experience in teaching is helpful, but not necessary,” said Dr. Ken Spencer, Academic Dean.  “Teaching at Chatfield offers a rewarding classroom environment – small classes of 5-15 students who are of all ages with different cultural and educational backgrounds.   We need instructors in all disciplines, during morning, afternoon and evening hours.”

Adjunct faculty are independent contractors.  Minimum qualifications for teaching at Chatfield College is a Master’s degree in the discipline the individual wishes to teach, or a Master’s degree in any area with 18 semester graduate credit hours in the discipline the individual wishes to teach.

Anyone wishing to apply may forward a resume and graduate transcripts by e-mail to kenneth.spencer@chatfield.edu, with the subject line: “Faculty Candidate” or apply here.

Established in 1971, Chatfield College is a private, Catholic, liberal arts college offering the Associate of Arts degree in St. Martin and Cincinnati.  Chatfield is an open enrollment college and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.  Prospective students need only to have a High School Diploma or GED to attend and will be guided individually through the enrollment and financial aid application process.  The Cincinnati Campus is located at 1544 Central Parkway, Cincinnati, OH  45202.  The St. Martin Campus is located at 20918 State Route 251; St. Martin, OH  45118.
