Chatfield Announces Houchens as New Director of Marketing & Digital Operations

Brianna Houchens will move into the new role of Director of Marketing & Digital Operations at Chatfield College. An employee of Chatfield for four years, Brianna will take on new duties at both the St. Martin Campus in Brown County and the Over-the-Rhine Campus in Cincinnati.

The new position of Director of Marketing & Digital Operations combines Brianna’s former role as Digital Media Coordinator with other communication and marketing duties. In her time at Chatfield, Houchens has transformed the digital marketing with fresh, new campaigns. Houchens was also an integral part of the rebranding team that changed Chatfield’s logo and slogan. In her new duties, she will be responsible for digital, social, and print media functions for the college.

“I am very excited to take on a new role at a place I have come to love so dearly in the last few years. Working at a small place like Chatfield enables me to take on many different roles and learn a variety of skills,” Houchens said. “I think this new position will provide a challenge that will allow me to develop in the marketing field.”

A graduate of Western Brown High School, Brianna went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Berea College. During her time at Berea, she worked as the Marketing Manager of the Intramural Department on campus, served on the Campus Activity Board, and interned at the Bowling Green Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.

“We are excited about Brianna and the possibilities of this new position. I feel confident she will have a big impact in marketing the great things happening at Chatfield College,” said John Penrose, Vice President of Enrollment Management.

Along with her marketing and PR duties, Brianna leads the Chatfield Student Service Club on the St. Martin Campus, as well as the Walking Club.

Brianna lives in Batavia with her husband Austin and their two dogs. When not at Chatfield, Brianna coaches the Western Brown girls track team and enjoys reading, photography, and the great outdoors.
