Announcement: Robert P. Elmore Returns to The Chatfield Edge December 2023

Dear friends and supports of The Chatfield Edge,

We have exciting news to share with you regarding the leadership of our organization. Robert P. Elmore, the sixth president of Chatfield College, has returned to serve as the Executive Director of The Chatfield Edge.

Bob worked tirelessly with the Board of Trustees to help us preserve the educational legacy of the Ursulines of Brown County when the college had to close in 2022. He fiercely believed we could continue to make a difference by assisting underserved populations though postsecondary education attainment.

Bob’s passion for helping students success is evident in his words, “We are successful if our students end up in a better place than where we met them.”

Today, The Chatfield Edge provides educational support, scholarships, mentoring and servant leadership to help students reach their goals. Our students include first-generation college students, adult learners, and students who have tried college before and failed but want to return.

We are pleased to announce that Bob has agreed to rejoin The Chatfield Edge as the Executive Director after Mr. Roger Taylor left last month to pursue other interests. Please join us in giving him a warm welcome back to the organization.
